The iRiver PMC 100 series consists of the PMC 120 which is the 20GB model and the PMC 140 which is the larger 40GB model. The iRiver PMC runs Microsoft portable media center so you will need a Windows XP pc to connect it to.
The iRiver PMC weighs less than 10oz and measures 5.5 inches by 3.5 inches and is just over an inch deep. The PMC has a 3.5 inch TFT screen that can display a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It is powered by a detachable Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery than lasts about 5 hours when playing video.
File types supported are WMV for video, audio supports WMA and MP3. This is not a great range of support because this player runs Microsoft software. Photographs can be viewed in the JPEG format.
You can connect the iRiver PMC to a television using the supplied video cable to view video and photographs. The unit connect to your PC to transfer files via the supplied USB 2.0 cable.
