The NHJ MPM-201 portable media player allows you to watch TV, play and record video, play music and view your photographs. The MPM-201 also comes with a docking cradle and a remote control.
This portable media player from NHJ is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh computers and connects via USB 2.0. There is a Compact Flash and Secure Digital reader built into the player so digital photographers can load their images straight onto the MPM's 30GB hard drive.
Measurements for the player are 5.5x1.5x3.25 inches and weigh in a little over 10oz without the rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery which claims to last 3 hours with video playback. Built into the media player is a 3.5 inch TFT display capable of 480 x 234 pixels resolution.
Various formats are supported by the MPM 201 including MPEG4(AVI) playback and recording. Voice can be recorded using WAV and audio playback with MP3. Photographs can be viewed using the JPEG file format. The player is capable of outputting video and images to your TV in PAL or NTSC.
The nice touch with this media player from NHJ is that is has a Tuner built in capable of receiving VHF, UHF and CATV although the connection is built into the cradle rather than the unit itself.
